kids at the beachI’ve been pretty busy as of late, not only getting up posts here at Kidventurous, but also working on a lot of family travel-focused articles and blog posts for other sites. Since I thought you’d like taking a look at these articles, I went ahead and shared links below. Hope you enjoy them.

For Fodors.com, I wrote a few articles that appeared in May and June in an effort to help families plan family adventures whether going on a road trip or taking a plane to Europe. A few of my favorites include: 5 Fun Summer Family Adventures, 6 Ways to Save on a Trip to Europe and 5 Tips for the Perfect Summer Road Trip.

Over at Family Vacation Critic, I wrote several posts perfect for families gearing up for summer vacations, including Hunting for Hidden Mickeys at Disneyland, 4 Must-Do Factory Tours in Vermont and Best of the Florida Keys for Kids.

For MiniTime, a great  new site that helps families plan and book vacations, I wrote a few posts as well, including 6 Places to Swim with Dolphins, 6 Places to Spend a Night at the Museum and 6 Ways to Save on Kid-Friendly Attractions. Clearly, I must really like the number “6.” 🙂

At My Frugal Adventures, I wrote 8 Ways to Get Outdoors for Summer Fun, which features lots of ideas for families looking for activities to get kids off the couch. For Homeschool.com, I wrote 10 Free Things to Do as a Family on Your Next Vacation, including going to free summer concerts and splashing in waterfalls. I also wrote iPhone and Travel: 10 Apps that Will Improve Your Vacation for HomeExchangeExpert.com.

In addition, I’m working an article for TravelChannel.com, which I hope to share with you next month, and then I plan to take a break as we head off to Ireland on Sunday. As you can see, it’s been a busy couple of months, and it doesn’t stop just yet. Tomorrow, I’m doing 18+ TV interviews as part of a satellite media tour on family road trips. Phew, I’m exhausted just thinking about all of this.

Are there any other family travel topics of interest to you? Just let me know in the comments section below and I’ll be sure to cover them here on Kidventurous or on a related family travel website.
