Travel Planning: 7 Pinterest Boards that Can Help

pinterest boardsPinterest fans, if you’re planning a family vacation, look to the pin boards for tips, advice and help deciding where to go and how to entertain the kids for free or cheap. Here are seven of my go-to Pinterest boards for organizing a family getaway:

Free Family Fun: From Amsterdam to Seattle, you’ll find a variety of posts pinned by me with loads of great free (and some cheap) activities to do with kids.

Fun Family Trips: Planning a family vacation? This board has lots of great travel tips, ways to save and fun activities for kids in popular spots, like Yellowstone Park and the Grand Canyon.

Land of the Free: Here you’ll find links to Minitime posts featuring fabulous free things to do in a bunch of cities across the U.S., including Baton Rouge, Birmingham and Pittsburgh.

Kidlette Travel: This board has links to lots of great items that would be useful when traveling with kids, like a seat belt pillow, a car caddy and treat boxes, most of which you can make on your own.

Favourite Places: Planning a trip to Ireland? This Pinterest board features pins with lots of free things to do in various counties throughout Ireland (we’re going in July, so this board is perfect for us!).

Travel: Tips & More: Whether you want to locate all of our national parks or create a road trip survival kit, this board has you covered. You’ll even find multiple pins on how to get organized before a trip.

Waterside Fun: Continental Kid: Like family beach trips? Then this Pinterest board is for you with beach crafts, photography tips and help for packing for the beach with a toddler.
