We love to play miniature golf. It’s a great way to spend an hour with your family as you putt your way through 18 holes, and believe it or not, it can be educational too. If you’re headed to or will be driving through any of the cities below, play a round at any of these mini golf courses while you learn more about such well-known, historic sites as London Bridge, the Liberty Bell and Mount Rushmore.

Around the World Golf: Head to Lake George, New York for two themed mini golf courses, “Around the World in 18 Holes” and “Around the USA in 18 Holes.” Look out for Paris’s Arc de Triomphe and London Bridge as you putt through the courses.

Franklin Square: Take a mini-tour of Philadelphia as you putt around the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Elfreth’s Alley and the Ben Franklin Bridge.

Par-King Skill Golf: You can’t go wrong at what’s been dubbed the “World’s Most Unusual Miniature Golf” in Lincolnshire, Illinois. Look out for Mount Rushmore and a Buckingham Palace Guard.

Have you been to any fun miniature golf courses that also offered a bit of education too? Let me know in the comments section below.
