2014 Passports with Purpose Fundraiser: Win 2 Orlando Explorer Passes

orlando explorer passIt’s that time of year again, time for the annual Passports with Purpose travel blog fundraiser to raise money for a select international charity program. Last year, Passports with Purpose raised more than $80,000 for buildOn to construct two schools and fund two adult literacy programs in Mali, Africa. Simply incredible.

This is the seventh year of the Passports with Purpose fundraiser and my third time participating in this noteworthy initiative. This year, the goal is to raise money for Sustainable Harvest International (SHI) to help farming families in Honduras improve their standard of living while preserving their tropical forests. For every $5,000 raised, SHI will be able to help one family for five years.

So, here’s how this fundraiser works. Simply visit the Donate page on the Passports with Purpose website and donate $10. Each $10 donation is equal to one “raffle ticket” in a drawing to win any one of a variety of prizes that have been procured by participating travel bloggers, including Kidventurous.

For every $10 you donate, you have one entry that can be applied to either the prize you see here on my website or toward any other prize in the Passports with Purpose fundraiser. Feel free to donate as much as you like. All donations are tax-deductible.

So, what’s up for grabs here at Kidventurous? Well, thanks to my good friends at Smart Destinations, I’ve got two Orlando Explorer Passes that allow each passholder access to four of ten Orlando area attractions and tours, including:

Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition

WonderWorks Orlando

Ripley’s Believe it Or Not!

Congo River Adventure Golf

Outta Control Magic Comedy Dinner Show

CSI: The Experience

Boggy Creek Airboat Rides

Forever Florida (Ziplines & Adventures in the Wild)

Kids Eat Free Card

Now for the fine print. Passholders must use each Orlando Explorer Pass to visit four different attractions. The Orlando Explorer Pass will be activated when presented at the first attraction. The passholder then has 30 days to use the pass to visit up to four attractions. The final day to enter the giveaway is Wednesday, December 17, 2014.

So, do you want to win? All you need to do is head to the Passports with Purpose donation page. From there you can check out all the other prizes, as well as donate $10 to get your “raffle ticket” to be used toward any of the prizes, including the two Orlando Explorer Passes that you read about here.

Thanks so much for your support, but before I wrap up this post, I’d like to give a huge shout out to the 2014 sponsors of Passports with Purpose, including TBEX and HomeAway. And, of course, a big, big thanks to Smart Destinations for making this fabulous giveaway possible.
