Best of the Blogs: Disney, Car Seats & Savings Tips

I recently brought on some new contributing writers, and I must say that they are fabulous, already busy writing up fantastic posts to put up on Kidventurous. You’ll soon see what they’ve got planned for Kidventurous, but in the meantime, please take a look at what they’re writing on their own sites. Enjoy!

I never thought of doing this, but Beth at Disney with Children has a great post on Using YouTube to Prepare Your Children for Walt Disney World. She found it was a great way to prepare her kids for the rides, particularly those she wasn’t quite sure were right for her kids right now.

Speaking of Disney, Rebecca at R We There Yet Mom? has a great post called Best Disney Autograph Book. In short, she has an idea that’s better than using the official autograph book you find at the parks. And naturally, Beth at Disney with Children seconds the idea of having an autograph book handy in her recent post, Autograph Books-Don’t Forget to Buy One.

Now if you’re planning to travel with an infant or a toddler, head to Kiddos on Board. Christin has two great posts with quick tips to help you deal with car seat issues. Check out Traveling with an Infant Car Seat and Flying with a Toddler Car Seat.

If vacation travel is on your mind, then Heather at The Family Suitcase has what you need. Take a look at Five Ways to Afford Traveling with Your Kids for tips about home exchanges, off-season travel and mileage points. Then check out A Healthy Holiday for the Whole Family so you can stay healthy while on your much-deserved family vacation.

Finally, if you’re not sure where to go, Diane at Philzendia has reviews worth checking out for spots like Dutch Wonderland (PA), Cherry Crest Adventure Farm (PA) and Field Station: Dinosaurs (NJ).

Got a minute? Kidventurous has been nominated for two family travel awards and we would love your vote. You can find out more in this recent post about the awards. Thank you!
