Be an Intern

Want to gain great writing and social media experience working with an award-winning family travel website? Then look no further. If you can spare at least one hour per day, then Kidventurous would like to talk to you.

We are currently looking for virtual interns to work on social media-related tasks to promote Kidventurous within key channels and take the website to the next level. If you use Twitter, Facebook, StumbleUpon and Pinterest on a regular (daily!) basis, then we want to hear from you. This is an unpaid, remote position that can be done from wherever you are, and it’s possible that you can qualify for college credit.

We want our interns to get a lot out of this experience, so one-on-one mentoring is a part of the program. We also work to provide you with hands-on opportunities and will expect you to meet weekly goals and provide reports on your progress so we can continue to grow Kidventurous as a team.

If you are interested in becoming an intern for Kidventurous, please send your resume and cover letter to Erin Gifford at erin (at) kidventurous (dot) com. Let us know when you can start, give us a feel for the social media tools you are currently using, why you want to intern for Kidventurous and why you would be the best fit. Also, let us know what you like to do and what you hope to get out of this internship. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
