It’s hard to believe, but Thanksgiving is less than four weeks away. Then Hanukkah and Christmas follow barely a few weeks later. Are you all set with your holiday travel bookings? Got your airline tickets? How about your rental car reservation?
I rent a car fairly frequently, most recently when I was in Colorado over the summer for TBEX, the travel bloggers conference. The event was in Keystone, about an hour and a half from the airport in Denver, so a car rental was key. It was an amazing drive too. Incredible views, and it was so fun driving the Jeep I rented up and down the mountains.
When I rented the Jeep, I used an online travel service, like Expedia or Travelocity, to book my car rental. I didn’t realize that some car rental agencies, like Alamo, regularly post weekly deals, making the cost of a car rental even lower than what I might find on aggregator sites. Even better, when you sign up for the Alamo Insiders loyalty program, you save 10% or more on any Alamo promotion.
Starting today, Alamo Insiders can save $25 on the rental of a convertible, minvan or SUV. So whether you’re picking up a minivan at the airport to drive the family to grandma’s house or you’re renting a convertible for a girls weekend in Southern California, you’ll find a great deal with Alamo.
While you consider the car rental savings with Alamo, why not register to win a prize pack courtesy of Alamo complete with everything you’ll need for your next car trip. Take a look at what’s inside:
* Alamo-branded Striped Boat Tote Bag
* Alamo-branded Travel Coffee Mug
* Alamo-branded Sunglasses
* Alamo Keychain
* Travel Scrabble Game
* iTrip iPhone/iPod Car Adaptor
* $100 American Express Gift Card
All you need to do is enter via the Rafflecopter widget below. Good luck!
