Are your kids still in school or has summer vacation officially started for you? We’ve got just three days left and my kids can’t wait for a few months of fun, games, camps and travel. I’m excited about the prospect of them potentially sleeping in, but I know I’m probably not that lucky.
So, with summer fast approaching, I started to build a Pinterest board called Summer Vacation for my kids and I to pin different articles and pictures of events and activities we have planned for the summer break, like going to a minor league baseball game and taking a trip to Boston.
It’s a fun way for the girls to get excited about the summer plans. It’s also a great way for me to find tips, tricks and ideas related to what I want to do with the kids. For example, we’re busy checking off activities on this 100 Things to Do This Summer list and one of the activities is “make popsicles.” So you can bet that when I stumbled across this post of 100+ Homemade Popsicle Recipes, you know I pinned that to my new board.
I challenge you to create your own “Summer Vacation” themed Pinterest board. What do you think, are you up for it? If you do, please send it my way. I’d love to check it out.
