Over the last few weeks, I’ve been busy writing guest posts and articles for other websites, like Smarter Travel, Family Vacation Critic and Travel Mamas. I’ve covered lots of great topics and cities, like Las Vegas, Washington, DC, Old San Juan and a bunch of hot spots for summer beach adventures. Since these articles can’t be found at Kidventurous, I thought you might like to pop over to these other sites to check them out. Let me know what you think.
Over at Family Vacation Critic, I wrote a guest post called Why You Should Take Your Kids to Las Vegas. Honestly, there’s so much for families to check out, like the Comedy Pet Theatre and the Las Vegas Natural History Museum, that makes Las Vegas a fabulous family destination.
Thinking about a beach adventure this summer? Take a look at my article at Smarter Travel on Four Must-Do Summer Beach Adventures for Families. Among my top picks are the Ritz-Carlton (Naples, FL) Trump International Beach Resort (Sunny Isles Beach, FL), Ka’anapali Beach Hotel (Maui, HI) and The Sanctuary (Kiawah Island, SC).
Head to Poshbrood to check out One Perfect Family Dan in Old San Juan. I wrote this post after I got back from my family Spring Break trip to Puerto Rico, and outline some not-to-be-missed activities, like flying a kite at El Morro and riding the trolley around Old San Juan.
Thinking about a trip to Washington, DC? Then stop by Travel Mamas to check out my post called Beyond Politics in Washington, DC: 3 Unique Museums for Kids. Here you’ll find the scoop on the Newseum, the International Spy Museum and the Crime Museum.
For Road Trips for Families, I put together a guest post called 5 Car Games that Incorporate Science Into Your Summer Road Trip. Since I’m gearing up for a road trip with my family in early-August, this was a great way to explore ways to keep my kids both busy and learning in the back seat of the minivan!
Finally, I wrote a fun post for Smarter Travel called Four Places to Get Behind Bars (No Mugshot Required) about four prisons you can tour for fun. Who knew? At the Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia, for example, you can even take home a poster of “Pep, the Cat-Murdering Dog!”
Are there any other family travel topics of interest to you? Just let me know in the comments below and I’ll be sure to cover them here on Kidventurous or on a related family travel website.
